David’s Insight on “Mirror"
Located in the Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, Hooker Lake was created in the 1970’s as the glacier started to melt. It is accessible via a relatively easy walk of just over 3 miles one way, over several swing bridges, in the dark if you’re looking to be there at sunrise. This stunning scene is well worth the effort! This is a candidate for the Specialty printing process of Dye Transfer in which the colors really pop.
