#61 Tuesday’s with David - “City Palace at Night”

Udaipur is an elegant city and is quite romantic at night. This long exposure photograph captures the City Palace from across Lake Pichola. Standing on the steps of the Ambrai Ghat watching the lights of the palace come up as dusk settles in, one is moved by the stillness of this city of almost half a million people. The steps are crowded with people watching the sun go down, a respectful appreciation fills the night air as the palace is bathed in its golden light.
