David’s Insight on “Ridge Light“
As a photographer, traveling New Zealand's South Island by car was the only way to go. This moody scene was unfolding before my eyes. I pulled over and set up quickly to get the capture. The light was so perfect, illuminating the ridge, the lake and the budding foliage in the foreground just right. There are a couple of purple sunbursts captured at the ridge that only adds to the mystery of this moody landscape. A long exposure smooths out the clouds and the water.
